About The Event
There's nothing like a sunset party in the summer!
Sound Freqz Entertainment presents "Sunset party" at Sunset Beach on Thursday, July 11th, 2019. Our Summer 2019 event calendar features several pop-up events designed to share the fun of silent parties with the community of North Bay while also highlighting local businesses and charities.
A silent party or "silent disco" is an event where people dance to music on wireless headphones. Rather than using a speaker system, music is broadcast via a FM radio transmitter with the signal being picked up by wireless headphone receivers worn by the participants. Coloured LEDs installed on each headphone match with one of three FM channels.
The Sunset Party will be feature three distinct channel programs for your listening pleasure:
- GREEN: Ruby Yoga will provide instruction starting at 8PM. Followed by an island playlist (Dancehall/Soca/Reggae playlist).
- RED: A Pop music playlist starts off the night followed by Global Groove Flash Mob Drop-in starting at 8:30PM.
- BLUE: Power playlist includes House/EDM hits to keep your body going!
Instructor Lead Sessions:
RED (8:30PM-9:30PM) - Shannon Falconi of Global Groove will be leading a walk-in flashmob dance rehearsal. Learn the moves for our public performance to be announced for September/October 2019.

GREEN (8PM-9PM) - Amanda Cooley of Ruby Yoga will be leading a yoga class. Find space along the beach or a shaded area. No matter where you are you'll be able to hear your instructor and focus on each pose.
