A silent party or "silent disco" is an event where people dance to music on wireless headphones. Rather than using a speaker system, all audio is broadcast via an FM radio transmitter with the signal being picked up by wireless headphones worn by the participants. Coloured LEDs on each headphone match with one of three music options.
